About us
Founded in 1865, the Zotz Winery is one of the largest and most traditional family-run wineries in Baden and is now managed by Michael and Julian Zotz, the fifth generation of the family. The focus is on terroir-driven Gutedel and Burgundy wines. Their style is strongly influenced by the chalky loess soils of the Maltesergarten and the cool-climate Badenweiler Römerberg vineyard with its barren limestone soil. In addition to classic wines, sparkling wines are also produced using traditional bottle fermentation. The winery is a pioneer in the field of non-alcoholic wines and sparkling wines, having produced its first non-alcoholic sparkling wines as early as 2012.

Products & Services
Crémant Brut
This Crémant Brut, produced using the traditional bottle-fermentation method, is wonderfully aromatic with notes of peach, lemon zest and grapefruit. It is full-bodied and has a fine effervescence on the palate, with subtle fruit sweetness and a lively acidity.
Blanc de Blancs Zero
The Blanc de Blancs Zero is made from early-harvested grapes. Following fermentation in steel tanks, the alcohol is gently removed from the high-quality base wine using vacuum distillation with aroma recovery. This preserves the full bouquet.
The varietal aromas of citrus fruits, peach and a hint of nutmeg are preserved. Lively and refreshing on the palate, with fine acidity and delicate bubbles.
